Stories have been told ever since humans developed language and first gathered around fire. And for a good reason: a story is not just a powerful way to impart complex information; it gives the storyteller an opportunity to build an emotional bond with the audience.
In the seminar we will explore the role of storytelling in a modern context and the ways in which stories promote the sharing and creation of knowledge. We analyze the components of a good story, and then you learn how to structure your own stories. You will learn how to tell a good story and how to fit the story to the audience and the situation.
